What this is
Alex Likes It is a recommendation site. That's it. We find things — in every category imaginable — test them, research them, or use them ourselves, and write about the ones worth your money and attention.
There are no banner ads on this site. No pop-ups. No "sponsored by" disclaimers on individual articles. The experience of reading here is the whole point.
How we make money
We use affiliate links. When you click a product link and buy something, we earn a small commission — typically 1–30% depending on the retailer — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is identical to going directly to the store.
This model means our incentive is actually aligned with yours: we only benefit if you find something good enough to buy. We have no reason to push you toward bad products, and we have every reason to find you the best ones.
We work with a wide range of affiliate programs — from large networks like Amazon Associates, ShareASale, and Impact, to direct programs with smaller brands that often pay more and make better stuff.
What we cover
Everything. Home, wellness, tech, kitchen, books, travel, pets, style, gifts, outdoor gear, food and drink, kids stuff, hobby supplies — if people buy it and someone's asking "is this worth it?", we want to answer that question.
We write three kinds of articles:
- Lists — the best X things in a category, curated and ranked
- Comparisons — X vs Y, head to head, with a clear winner
- Guides — what to buy for a specific situation, with full context
No ads. Really.
A lot of sites say they're about the content but are actually about the ad revenue. We built this the other way around. Affiliate links mean the content has to be good for the business model to work. Bad recommendations don't convert. Good ones do.
If you find something through us that you love, that's the whole win. If you want to say hi or suggest something we should cover, reach out.
